Kesäkuun lopussa Japanissa on tapana puhdistautua menneen puolen vuoden pahoista asioista ja toivoa onnea tulevalle puolelle vuodelle. Koska riisi istutetaan touko-kesäkuussa, on kesäkuu tärkeää aikaa viljelijöille ja silloin suoritetaan erilaisia rituaaleja, jotta riisisadosta tulisi hyvä.

Sunnuntaina 4.6. klo 14:00 (13:30 HSL:n lautta Kauppatorilta) teehuone Tokuyūanissa pidetään Nagoshi teetilaisuus edessä olevan puolen vuoden hyvän onnen toivomisen merkeissä. Tilaisuus kestää noin tunnin ja siinä tarjotaan makeinen ja maljallinen ohutta teetä (usucha). Makeinen sisältää aduki-papua, riisijauhoa ja sokeria. Pyydämme ilmoittamaan ruoka-ainerajoitukset ilmoittautumisen yhteydessä. Tilaisuuden hinta on 15 € (10 € opiskelijoille ja yhdistyksen jäsenille) ja sen voi maksaa paikan päällä käteisellä (tasaraha) tai MobilePayllä.

In the end of June there is a tradition in Japan to purify from the sins of the past half of the year and wish good luck for the coming half of the year. Because rice is planted in May and June, is June very important for the farmers and many kinds of rituals are performed to ensure a rich harvest.

On Sunday 4th June a Nagoshi tea gathering is held at the tea room Tokuyûan at 14:00 (13:30 HSL ferry from the Market Square) to wish good luck for the coming half of the year. The gathering takes about an hour during which a sweet and a bowl of thin tea (usucha) are served. The sweet contains aduki beans, rice flour and sugar. In case of food allergies, please write a note to the registration form. The price for the tea gathering is 15 € (10 € for students and members of the Tankokai Finland Association). Payment can be made by cash (exact amount) or by MobilePay at the tea room.
